The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

This is simply one of the nicest places we've ever stayed! If you book the room with the balcony you can sit outside in the mornings/evenings with a coffee and there's even a view of Criccieth castle. Our room was spacious and the en-suite was huge! The breakfasts were excellent with fruit, cereals and full English etc all available in a light and airy room. Guests can also make use of a lovely sitting room, the garden and the property has off-road parking. Many thanks to our hosts Meri and Bryn for a lovely stay, your B&B is exceptional!

It was a good sized family room with little kitchenette which was very helpful. The staff were flexible with the check in and check out as we had to check in late and check out very early. They were also willing to accommodate us sending a package there if we needed.

There was nothing I didn’t like. It was great

Fantastic studio hobbit sized space in great location. Private entrance with secure keypad. Suited me fine though if you're taller than 5'7", you'd struggle with the ceiling height!

The advertised pic was not the entry door, which was actually to the left of the stairway. The link sent to show actual pic didn't work. A quick phone call sorted it out though. An outdoor designated recycle bin would have been great. No place to put my separated rubbish.

Our room was lovely with a great view. The social rooms were all very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. Beetroot & apple starter was vg.

The veg with my fish dish were tasteless to be honest. My daughter had cold water in her shower up in one of the 400 rooms. This was reported to reception. We were there with a big party for my sister's 80th birthday. All booked months in advance. Paid a small fortune to the Hydro for rooms etc. My main annoyance was this: I had emailed in advance to check whether you have a croquet set. I got the answer that there is one and that the receptionist had checked this with the leisure people. On the first day we asked and told it was down in the garden. Sister asked and was told the leisure people would know. Again on next day asked and told it would be in the garden. Finally told it was too late in the day to get hold of the leisure people. Final morning asked again and the leisure man was there and he knew absolutely zilch about a croquet set and didn't even know what croquet is. So I was told fairy tales about the croquet set by the receptionist who answered my email. We wasted two hours wandering around looking for the damned thing.
