The staff were absolutely outstanding, truly wonderful people and great at their jobs. 10/10 for the staff. One night the chef made incredible chips but terrible pasta. The following night I had the best pizza, would pay far more at any chain and not get anywhere near the flavour, however the accompanying chips were hilariously bad. The chefs need to talk to each other and the food here would be consistently fantastic.

No electricity or water upon arrival, kettle in the room was truly rotten, the tv didn’t work (I fixed it) the breakfast was never available as an actual meal. Could get bits and pieces but not worth the money. Fire alarm went off at 6am, building work was absolutely ridiculous at 7:30am the same morning. Impossible to get good rest after working at a festival. Was a truly awful morning.

100% Recommended. I felt like living in Brighton. Much better than I could expect, Great location, walk distance from all the business and town centre, next to the train station, The Fully Kitchen and 2 full bathrooms was a surprise.... It literaly has Everything, my misses love the bath, I loved the fast wifi and big TV. I come often to Brighton and this place is by far the best cost x benefit you can find.

I was afraid about parking as parking in Brighton is a nightmare. Although I had no issues with street parking just outside of the property. Thanks to the lovely host that explained how it works...

Absolutely beautiful, location was amazing and just a short drive to Pucks Glenn! Gorgeous hope was a lot bigger than expected and gifts were highly appreciated, the host took notice I was bringing my cat and gifted us a food bowl and cat treats🤍🤍 100% coming back this year!!!

A.M. receptionist 17.06.24 was excellent. Staff member leaving work asked where we were going when she saw us outside leaving. I think she was going to give us a lift because of our mobility but I told her we wanted to walk. All staff we're great.

We really enjoyed our short stay here and would gladly return. The lodge is cosy, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is peaceful with beautiful surrounding scenery.

Room was very very basic, and definitely in need of a major overhaul. Stairway to bedroom corridor was in poor condition. Re bedroom- Door key lock was loose and wobbly, however it did lock. Cracked floor tiles next to toilet and in bathroom, and both the toilet door and wall had some brown smudges on them. Bathroom tile grouting over the bath were black but had been painted white, looked dreadful. Grouting at the other end of the bath had heavy yellow discolouration. One of the taps in the bathroom was filthy underneath where the washer had been forced forward and was full of gunge. Carpet and chair in bedroom were very badly stained, we did not feel comfortable walking bare foot on the carpet, or sitting on the chair. There was only one teaspoon which had been used prior to our arrival and had not been washed. Milk cartons were curdled. Requested a double bed, however we got 3 single beds which were uncomfortable, as the mattress springs were noisy when moving and were felt when in bed. One of the wall lights did not work. TV was very pixilated due to sensitive loose ariel connection. If we had been able to get there earlier and had more time to spare, I would have asked for another room. We both felt like we needed a shower when got home as the room felt grimy. We would never stay here again.

We booked a room without window, and were ready to have a small room (we chose the cheapest option so fare enough). However the room was super small because of the presence of a large pylon in the middle of the room...
