Very close to Gatwick, only a 5-10 minute trip in the shuttle bus provided by the hotel. Going to the airport they seem to run this every half an hour, and coming home you phone from the bus stop and they come to collect you. We only had to wait 10/15 minutes to be collected. They also operate this 24 hours a day which some of the other hotels I looked at do not. The room was nice and bed was comfy. The room wasn’t too big but we just needed the one night before our flight so the room does what it needed to do. Staff very friendly. The shuttle bus was £12 per trip and parking £8 per day so in total for four days parking and the return trip it cost £60 which isnt bad at all considering how convenient it is. Would stay again.

The room (302) we had was lovely very comfortable and clean , bed was very comfortable. I was really glad we had a walk in shower, as we are both in our 70s it’s not so easy struggling in and out over a bath. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Location was fine, we had a lovely walk along the waterside and the shopping centre was easy to get to.

The noise in the foyer on the Friday night when we were in the restaurant for dinner was awful with people waiting to go into a charity event. Everyone in the restaurant was complaining.

Ben and Lucie met and welcomed us on arrival. It was lovely talking to them and finding out about the accommodation. The place is spotless, cosy and comfortable. We had everything we needed. A very pleasant stay, would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This is a lovely property, conveniently situated near the front at Lee-on-the-Solent, the facilities were great and the rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Thank you.

It was so easy for my elderly mother and I after our cruise to stay a night in Gatwick then fly to Highlands next day . The staff were really friendly and our room was excellent.

Vicky was a wonderful host. The house is very well located and the bus-stop just on the corner.

The fact that you have to share the bathroom with other people.

Location
Negative section of review
Very hard to locate, no signs or house number given by the property. No reply or contact from them to resolve this, was searching for property for 30 mins before being directed by a passerby. Also very unsafe, keys kept under the mat to a flat, told our room was in the basement which we could hear multiple people coming in and out of the flat throughout the night. Unsanitary in terms of the Patio doors had limescale covering half of the glass, dust in bath and random stains on bedsheets. Definitely not worth the £139 we paid.
