Stayed one night here for work. The parking instructions seemed complicated, but in reality the parking was fine and within an easy 3 minute walk from the property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was gorgeous, lots of antique furniture and unique touches, very clean and with a luxury feel. The bathroom had a fab shower, and the bed, though a little soft for my liking, provided a good night's sleep. The location was ideal, allowing me to walk into town for an evening work social. The area was nice and I felt safe returning to the hotel alone even at 10:30 p.m. Lovely hotel and I would stay again.

Large room (no 3) with very comfy and clean bedding, big TV, prompt response to online queries prior to stay. Facilities for making hot drinks available in room ( real milk and chilled water in nearby communal fridge). Because mine was a short stay I didn’t need to interact with the staff much but those I spoke to were very helpful.

Shower cubicle small, no bother to me but if you were a large person you might struggle. Shower door seal and sealant need a little attention but a minor point. I would have preferred biscuits to the sweetie jar but you can’t please everyone!

The evening meal, breakfast extremely good. Bedroom bathroom spacious, light and clean. Quiet room. Very happy with all. Staff friendly and professional. Not sure the bed or pillows were quite as comfortable as they might be, but it could be me being picky!

Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Generous supplies left for breakfast. Hot water in both showers. There was even a well stocked mini-bar.

Bit of a hassle getting key initially as need it to access garage and enter property at rear. We had to replace fob battery as wasn't working properly.
