The staff were so helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean and stylish and in a beautiful location, would reccomend a stay, the pool and hot tub an added bonus. Would come again.

The price was a little expensive for our two day stay, maybe a better discount for a shorter stay instead of 7 days stay that I've seen advertised.

The Hotel is located very near the city center and a famous shopping mall. The rooms are also spacious and rooms get ample sun light.

Serious concern about staff behavior and lack of safety checks. One of the legs of a heavy wooden table came off and injured me. Thankfully I did not have family with me. I have a 4year Old kid who might have got seriously injured. The lady at the reception was laughing instead of expressing her mismanagement of the whole thing. I was appalled by her behavior and could not understand how this hotel management trains their staffs anyway. Would not recommend this hotel for anyone due to unprofessional staff and lack of concern for the health & safety of the customers.

Location, cleanliness, breakfast all excellent. Easy bus or walking access into York.

Our room (23) was a corner attic room with sloping ceilings, which made it difficult to move around in. The staircase to the upper floor was narrow and steep with tiny treads - fortunately we didn’t have large luggage.

Location was ideal for what we wanted. The place was very clean and tidy.

The property is above a steak house (which is yet to open) the steak house alarm was continuously going off. Although it was not too loud. The hooks on the back of the bathroom and bedroom doors fell off. These need to be screwed in. The postcode on google maps showed the opposite side of the road and therefore took some time in finding the location.

Right in the flight path for Manchester airport and very very loud airplanes at 6am on Sunday! Also, food, drinks and the like are very expensive here. Some food we wanted that was on the menu wasn’t available, which was a little disappointing.

Bathroom very small. Microwave in a cupboard 7ft high, very dangerous unable to use. I would stay again but would need to pay for a bigger room.
