The location was excellent, great on site facilities and the amenities in the cabin were great. When we finally got to eat in the restaurant, the staff there were brilliant, the easy going atmosphere was perfect for the children and the food was good. The shop was handy and had all the essentials, the arcade was good but would be better for older children, the same for the play park. Would definitely recommend and we will return.

I asked for an apartment with a bath at the time of booking and the staff said they didn't know so there was only a shower which wasn't ideal with 2 little ones. We asked for a high chair daily and didn't ever receive one, despite being told they would bring one to us. The handle of the oven door was broken with a sharp bit left sticking out, which led to an eyebrow bruise upon collision with the 1 year old. We arrived on Monday until Thursday and I hadn't known that the swimming pool had to be booked 24 hours beforehand and the restaurant wasn't open until the Wednesday evening. The apartment was clean but could do with a deep clean, there was quite a bit of rubbish under the beds etc when we had to move the furniture around to facilitate the travel cot which was provided for us immediately.

Absolutely the best stay! Host is really really sweet. Beautiful house and garden, beautiful bedroom with plenty of snacks, coffee, tea, even some wine! The ensuite bathroom is just gorgeous with a superb view on the garden. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great choice of fresh everything! Last but not least everything is spotless. We will definitely come back here if we need to stay in Shrewsbury again.

Hotel is in great location. Foyer is brilliant. Woolly sheep, comfy chairs. Modern and quirky. There is a nice bar area serving drinks and snacks till very late. Rooms are very clean. Bed was comfortable. Wifi is excellent. Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

A great place to stay and very comfortable - particularly given the building is around 300 years old. Diana was very warm and welcoming and made us feel very at home. We also enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant downstairs.

Another fantastic stay at the street head inn, I stayed here 2 years ago and this time was just as amazing as my last stay. All the staff are friendly and the food is amazing.
