Evening meal in the pub proved to be excellent with a good choice of food from their menu. Staff and Kirstie ( Manager) were very good, polite and helpful. I'm sure if something wasn't right they would sort it !!

Last minute booking so I was lucky to get the room as everywhere was fully booked. Very pleased with it, very clean; spotless, comfy and warm. I couldn't of asked for more. Cheers, I would recommend staying here.

Sound-proof panelling which had been installed the day of my arrival fell from the wall during the night waking me repeatedly. I expect that this will be resolved but it did affect my stay significantly.

Very tired. Security lock in room was broken. Towel rail was hanging off the wall. Cold tap had to be turned multiple times before any water came out. Anyone could walk straight in and through reception to the corridors. Advertised breakfast at £7.50 but in fact this turned out to be the offer of a voucher to spend in the service station outlets.

The room was in need of attention. The bathroom was in need of modification, the extractor fan did not work and it was in general scruffy. The bath was chipped The windows needed replacing. There was no tv control. The was made up on the second day. The breakfast on the first morning was chaotic due to the large number of guests from a wedding. Very little choice.

When you book, you pay in advance for your stay and you will receive the confirmations of your booking. However, the vendor will contact you for you to transfer another sum of £500, will call it “a deposit” and will have your money up to 2 weeks as they need to inspect the property after you leave. With no witnesses or way guarantee this will not be a bias verification as a justification to not return your money. This sounded and looked like a scam and I didn’t go thought the booking. Although I paid almost £500 for 4 days, I would have to transfer more £500 to stay. Host refused to give me my money back although I explained this was very suspicious. I have challenged this practice, reported and it’s being investigated.
