What a beautiful place to be - peaceful and comfortable, in a lovely quiet street. The place has been so thoughtfully renovated and decorated, a real treat to stay there. The hosts are kind and welcoming, and the extra little touches were very welcome and helpful, thank you!

The grounds were lovely. The hotel itself was very clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice, you had your self served cold options and they came to the table to take a hot food order.

Beds were uncomfortable. There were no facilities to speak of. Not much within walking distance, we had to take a taxi several times. The hotel feels out of place with the surrounding area being so industrialised.

Good location for a wedding I was attending nearby. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast offering was good, good sized car park, well stocked bar, seems a decent enough place.

Quite basic, bathroom smelled badly of sewers and no ventilation in the room other than the window which looked out onto waste land/bushes meant airflow was restricted. Bed very hard, walls are thin so can hear people talking and lots of doors banging in the morning. Car park needs some tlc- potholes everywhere.

The bathroom was dirty behind the door. That area looked as though it was constantly forgotten during the clean. The toilet was moving, the shower had a few jets that were not blocked so I had about 1/4 of power. It went hot and cold and never remained at one temperature. There was a dark coloured bath mat which was inappropriate in a b&b. I doubt it is changed every time and it looked filthy.

If you are traveling solo/ group of friends on budget, spending most of the time outside exploring the city as well as nightlife then this might be a good place for you, the contrary is true, if you’re traveling as a family looking for some peace and quite definitely not recommended, we learned this the hard way. The walls are very porous and the clientele here tend to be very noisy. The description of the hotel as offering complimentary breakfast is misleading as they only have the usual coffee sachets, hot water kettle, and some small milk that’s found in most hotel rooms, they should just say it’s coffee sachets not “Breakfast”. Overall not a very pleasant stay for us unfortunately.
