Location was perfect. Lovely set up and the complimentary hamper was a nice surprise. Fantastic that there was some milk available upon arrival. Handy to have usb sockets near the bed

Noisy shower and toilet. Would have liked a higher level socket in the main lounge area to be able to use hair curling irons easier.

The cottage is lovely and in a really great location. There is a lovely pub over the road and we had access to many lovely walks which is why we were here

Unfortunately We only had one bath towel, there were other towels available but unfortunately are too small to use to dry and adult after using the shower

The house has seen better days. Heavily stained living room carpet. Rubbish in the back garden. Insufficient crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. The downstairs shower was not working with broken controls and it was not very clean and, a mattress propped up behind the sofa.

The main issue was on the hottest day of the year so far the air-con was broken, however it took 3 visits to reception for them to acknowledge this. The 1st floor room was right next to some huge roof top airducts from possibly the restaurant which roars 24/7 so we had to open the windows to that noise to try and get some air in. If they had advised of the aircon issue on arrival we could have handled the situation well. To be fair once they confirmed the aircon was broken they offered a discount on the booking. Also much of the hotel, from room to swimming pool, was very tired or not working, and in real need of a refurb
