The room was clean and comfortable. The host showed me to the my room and explained everything very patiently. The breakfast was very good and generous. The view from my room was absolutely beautiful. The place is remote enough that it's lovely and quiet but very central at the same time so it is within walking distance of everything. I would definitely book again.

The shower drain took ages to empty (I should have informed the host but it completely slipped my mind) and the walls are a little thin, I could hear next doors guest snoring. But that didn't bother me too much.

Mostly it’s location, it’s central . The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Liked the idea of extra towels in the drawer rather than having to phone up housekeeping. Their deco and dinning area are amazing. They have facilities l didn’t see as l was only there for one night like the gym. They also have a restaurant.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel which should be an indication that we like it. It is a charming place, ideally situated for visiting Orkney or just travelling the NC500, both of which we have done. The hosts ate extremely helpful and obliging and the food is delicious.

I enjoy my stay here and everything was okay, I enjoy the pool and the gym but there were some things which I didn’t like it here.

* Let’s start with breakfast, the buffet was good but the Al’ Carte menu which i order omelette was not good so i don’t suggest you to order that one. * The unprofessional staff in this hotel I will give it 40%. The staff spend a lot of time being behind the bar and do nothing, they don’t go around the people and ask if anything is okay. When I order my food with the waiter he didn’t let me finish speaking, I know if I want to take a second dish I need to pay for it, I work with hospitality too but I don’t think this hotel knows what’s hospitality is!!! I never been in a hotel like this, is a waste of money to stay here so please choose other hotel then this one!!! They don’t work as a TEAM!! * There were no dressing gown and slippers in my room. * When I was trying to call room service, they didn’t answer. * The breakfast isn’t included with the booking and u need to pay for it. * The other Apex hotel next to this hotel is better than this one. I don’t like to write any bad reviews but I see things which I don’t like and I say it, the staff needs to be trained well, they don’t even do training on them. For me this hotel is 3 and half star hotel!

Four days prior to my arrival, I was notified via email of the 'scam' experienced. Thats why they wished for photo identification upon arrival. Despite the important email shared, no further information received prior to or on the same day of my first visit to this branch of Hilton. I was shocked about the additional remittance payment I was made to fully pay during my upon my arrival. Despite the full reservation confirmation email from Booking.com in addition to the communication from ~ Hampton by Hilton London Croydon.
