  The apartment was in an ideal location, had a great view from the lounge/dining room, and was easy to find and access. lots of pubs and restaurants within an easy walk, as was Windsor Castle. It had all the facilities we needed but wasn't quite as spacious as we expected from the photos.

  The bed was hard against the wall on one side so not ideal for easy access. Parking was in a public pay and display carpark and cost around UKL 25.00 per day There was no internet code in the room so we had to contact the booking people. We found that booking.com had dropped all the links to the guest manual in the messages we received which wasn't ideal, but not the host's fault. There are no blackout curtains in the bedroom so it got light very early making it hard to sleep once the sun came up around 05.00.

  The location is close to parking, but the noise on a night is loud. There is an industrial extractor fan a few meters away from the bedroom window that was pumping until just after midnight.

  Glass on the kitchen floor that hadn't been cleaned since the last occupants. Caused a nasty injury on an adult, lucky it wasn't our child. There is no internet access in the accommodation. The owner has no intention of fixing this issue or letting occupants know about this prior to the stay, so be aware you'll be in a low signal area with no WiFi. If you have a child in a push chair, this isn't for you, stairs and awkward doors to navigate with no lift access, and safety hasn't even been a consideration. No fire blanket or fire extinguisher in the kitchen area and no fire escape route. Truly dismal property, avoid this property.

  Loved my room want to re book the same room again in the near future. Its situated right in the centre of the delightful village which has plenty to offer

  That I could not park my car outside . Being disabled it was a real problem but the man that cleaned the rooms took me to a car park then went and got his car and came to pick me up and take me back to the hotel only it was to far for me to walk on crutches.

  Cool interior and very friendly and helpful staff. Especially front desk staff exceptionally helpful. Bathroom new and clean.

  Little rundown and rooms (except bathroom) not really clean: stains on flooring, wall and mattress. Room to seafront not worth the extra money due to poor window and door insulation. Noise kept us up untill 4am.

  Other guests Large party of Chinese were very loud room doors open and lots of noise in the corridor. No regard for other guests then attacked the buffet breakfast as if they had not eaten for weeks. Felt sorry for the staff
