The property was clean and safe with nice old style deco in a historic building. Well located property in the centre of the old town. Check-In via the online app was easy and access was super easy by the use of a door code.

Breakfast was good and the female member of staff was very friendly. The evening meal was good and despite the fact that it was extremely busy due to the Bank Holiday we didn't have to wait long for our food.

The matrasses were very soft, too soft but that is personal preference. We were on the second floor and it was hard work dragging the luggage up to the room. The door to the bathroom got stuck on the uneven floor but it's an old building so all was forgiven after a warm shower and a good evening meal

Great location. Nice big room with beach view. Magnificent period staircase. The slightly faded grandeur is reflected in the price. Staff very agreeable. On street parking nearby.

We’ve stayed many times and we always like the same room. It’s clean has a sea view and is very comfortable. It’s also centre to everything.

Well we had dinner with you on the Monday night. I had steak. We had had a long day and were very hungry. Our meals were tepid. Nothing on my plate was hot. Even the steak was just warm. I ate about a third and my husband finished the rest of. We got to our room and after around an hour or so were disturbed by we think about half a dozen guys going to their rooms. Only to be followed by very loud music until about 2.30 a.m. what a night. Surely other guests must have heard them. Eventually after getting some sleep we went down to breakfast. Once again my husbands scrambled was OK he said but my Friendly Breakfast was just warm. It’s all pre cooked and kept warm. How disappointing. There was no one on Reception when we left and several others at the same time. A time which I would have thought very important. You can tell there was a shortage of staff in all departments. So I think our time at the Cabot has now come to an end.

The location was great close to public transport. Having a full kitchen and ability to use the washing machine was a real benefit
