Beautiful barn conversion. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Although they lived in the next cottage, we were left in peace to enjoy our stay. It was reassuring to know that they could be contacted immediately should the need have arisen. It was very clean and well equipped with everything one would need: a home from home. The enclosed garden was a bonus. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family. I would be happy to stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (myself and my two grown-up sons, plus Patterdale Terrier)

The ONLY criticism is that the dining table chairs could do with being replaced as they were rather uncomfortable, having seen better days. But that was it. Great place.

The staff were extremely accommodating in terms of room choice, early arrival time and early breakfast order on the weekend due to a commitment that we had at the Sportspark. Those things combined to make the stay really flexible. The facilities were great, comfy beds, high pressure shower and great complimentary knick knacks. The evening meal in the restaurant wasn't bad either. Would definitely stay again when visiting Norwich.

A slightly earlier breakfast on the weekend to match the weekday time of 7.30 would be ideal or the option of continental breakfast from 7.30 on the weekends to allow the earlier riser to grab and go without the need for a chef/cook. Have stayed here twice to attend swim competition at the Sportspark with an 8.45 competition start, but the breakfast served from 8 on weekends instead of 7.30 to match the weekday time is a restriction. However, the staff were great in allowing us to pre order the night before but breakfast still didn't arrive at our table until 8.25 so had no time to eat before racing. This is not meant to be overly critical of this lovely pub/accommodation as it really is a great place to stay but having breakfast time to match the weekday time or a help yourself continental option at weekends would raise my stay from and 8/10 to a 10/10.

Our only concern was being next door to a pub which was very busy because of the celebrating patrons during this EARLY MAY BANK HOLIDAY. We needed to have a phone with a UK sim card in order to contact the owners to gain access to the accommodations...a problem if we weren't prepared. The info was embedded in an email that we saw later once we logged in using the free wifi.

I had a good contact with the holder of the apartment . He was always available if you wanted to ask for something. But, there is always a but! The sofa bed was not comfort because it was not a madras. They have only put one one quilt so you could feel the feathers of the sofa bed when you were sleeping. We couldnt sleep at all. But the other bed ( a real bed) was more comfortable. So i would not recommend this apartment for 4 persons. I contaced the house holder and he said that the housekeeper will fix it but nothing happened but when we asked for more toilet paper, we had it the same day! It was chairs for three persons only. It was only three towels but we got one more. So it wasnt good structured. They say the that we need to respect the rules in the apartment after 22. But i heard lots of sound the first night in the house. I texted the house holder and then it was better.
