The hotel lobby and bar are absolutely lovely! The young northern Irish man at reception was extremely welcoming, very good for front of house. The room was fantastic, quiet, and comfortable, and the bed was huge and comfortable. All items in the room were nice and clean. The toiletries were plentiful, nice hot shower and fluffy towels. We had a drink or two in the Greyhound pub, which is attached to the reception, it was reasonably priced, and a great pind of guiness. We had breakfast the following morning it was self-service, buffet style breakfast with fresh eggs and beans, and the continental breakfast was lovely to.

Pre ordered breakfast and time which worked for us as we wanted to leave ASAP to get on the mountains. Breakfast was wholesome and well presented. Amy and James were amazing hosts and very knowledgeable on the local area. Lake view is outside llanberis but busses pass by regularly and are really cheap.

I wish I could say there was something I didn't like about Lake view but it ticked all the boxes for a stay in Llanberis.

Everything was provided to enable us to enjoy our stay. Plenty of utensils, dishwasher tabs, and cleaning products, toiletries, and all the basics. Lots to keep the little ones entertained.

– No kitchen facilities. – Sanitary facilities – small shelves or hangers in toilet stalls would be useful (so you don't have to put your staff on the floor when coming to the bathroom for your morning routine), sinks spray you when washing hands (let alone trying to wash your face or brush your teeth), not all showers had hot water. – Very noisy until late night hours because of the club below the hotel, even on weekdays. The hotel provides complimentary earplugs, but you can still feel the walls shaking, so I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers. – A couple of days before arriving, we asked for an additional blanket (since we wanted to sleep under separate ones) and we were told it was impossible as they "have enough for each room". – Towels were not prepared in the room, we had to ask for them additionally. There was just one glass, and after asking for a second one, we got a plastic cup.

Room a little tired, stained carpet, rips in net curtains, but overall adequate. Food and quality of food very poor. Service poor, lack of training in lots of instances, no real feel of overall management being present which led to a somewhat hap hazard and inconsistent level of customer service throughout the whole stay. Staff sat outside on very regular basis smoking constantly in customer facing outside areas.

Rooms were small . A/c didn’t work . Rooms were very hot . Had to open the window ( only lets you open a little ) hotel is on a roundabout so very noisy. Shower wasn’t good . Couldn’t get a temperature cool enough to get in it Looked on the day and could have stayed at the other Leonardo hotel with facilities for the same money
