Breakfast was superb, plenty of it and the restaurant manager Brian was very welcoming/ caring makes you feel at ease as were his staff in the restaurant, Nick the barman goes above & beyond a genuine likeable guy

The stairs were lethal and not great for anyone over 50. Saw them on the pictures when booking but didn’t realise they were that steep and tight. No shower or shower attachment for the bath. The step from the double bedroom to the hall is an accident waiting to happen, could easily trip and end up down the stairs in the dark. No Netflix or any other tv than the usual channels. No cooking facilities and no coffee machine or hairdryer as advertised. No iron or ironing board. No champagne glasses either. Need a coffee table downstairs, no where to put drinks. Traffic very noisy and you could hear everyone in the next apartment. Bed very creaky, lumpy and springy. Mattress needs replacing. No full length mirror anywhere and no mirror in the bedroom apart from a small one which the light didn’t work on. No dishwasher and the bins bags were too small for the bin. It really needs an upgrade to be called a serviced apartment.

Lovely girl on the desk, room super clean. Right beside the Sheffield interchange bus depot. Lots of shops nearby.

The owner agreed for us to come 1h earlier and leave our bags, which was kind.

- Lack of any communication. We received no directions, there was no sign on the door that would allow us to identify the building (it turned out that the building number was actually the flat number on this street), we didn't know whether to expect a reception desk or self check-in. It turned out it was self check-in, but we only found out how to enter after calling the owner. - Not all facilities advertised were available: Internet (maybe it was there, but no one told us how to access it), slippers (which we specifically asked for when we called the owner, even though the owner confirmed they would be available), tea/coffee maker in all rooms (there was only an electric kettle in the shared kitchen). For around 3 rooms, there were also only 2 mugs (one of which was taken to the room by other guests, and the other which was dirty in the kitchen for more than a day, even though the cleaner was in the flat in the meantime) and 2 forks. - In the bathroom, there was also nowhere to hang the towel, and the bathroom wasn't clean enough to simply put it somewhere. (Same as the rest of the flat.)

Room was very cramped for three adults. Even as a double you had to walk sideways along bottom of bed. Not enough storage space. Need hooks on the wall to help with hanging clothes.
