For the price and for being so central this is a great little place to know about. You wouldn’t spend hours in the room - they’re small rooms. But they’re cosy and comfortable and have everything you need as a bolt hole on a reasonable budget. Compared with what you get for double the price close by, this isn’t a bad call!

A first rate hotel. Staff polite and helpful. I had initially been given a room upstairs despite asking for a ground floor room and when I asked If a room on the ground floor was now available this was arranged on the date of my arrival.

I can't account for it but during the time I occupied the room I was aware of an odd chemical smell which, in my long life I have never encountered before. I can't describe anything similar. It was such that it lingered in my nasal passages all the following day. Most strange. Unfortunately iny haste to leave and be on my journey I forgot to mention it to reception. At that stage I was not to know that it would last all day..

Stunning location overlooking the tidal falls of the (sea) Loch Etive. The pod was immaculate, very clean and everything provided even down to milk in the fridge.

The window didn't seem to close and lock, so I was worried about leaving things in the room while going out for work. The walls are paper thin and the people next to me decided to play loud music / TV until 1am then the person below was screaming down the phone at 7am. So not ideal. Maybe the hosts should send some guidance to visitors about noise late at night.
