The staff were really nice, especially the gentleman working on Sunday evening. Close to beach & St Leonards train station. Lots of shops and restaurants (such as Cinnamon Spice) nearby. Quiet, warm, good value for money. Breakfast included

We paid for a deluxe double room, but the room we were given is without doubt the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was little room at either side of the bed to walk down. I asked for an ironing board on arrival but struggled to find anywhere to stand it! We arrived back at 11:30pm to find our bathroom flooded by the room above. Judging by the water damage to the bottom of the bathroom door this had happened before. We had to be moved to another room, so had to pack everything up after a night out in London and move to a basement room. The staff were very keen to tell us this one had a jacuzzi in the room, as if this would be of interest at well after midnight after just having to up sticks!

Dear Sir’s, I must express my dissatisfaction with the service that you provided for my stay on one of my regular business trip to the region of the evening of 24th April 2024. Upon check in and request of a table at one of your alleged 3 available restaurants, I was informed that you were fully booked in all 3 restaurants, but your receptionist kindly contacted the chef who duly advised that he could or would not accommodate me. The receptionist was kind to recommended a nearby restaurant. On the 6th Floor, on entering the elevator, (only 1 available) and limited load capacity, this resulted in one of the patrons having to get out, could only take 2 people. Upon arrival in the room, the standard and the quality of the room (619) or suite as it is ‘advertised and marketed’ was extremely poor and bear in mind that at £143-10 this is expensive for the region. In addition, the TV was not working, with the screen stating, ‘weak or no signal – check the aerial cable connection’. This I duly did with no success. With no TV and no food, I went to the bar to ask if there was a hotel TV to watch sport, once again, your hotel doesn’t provide. Then decided to have a drink, your hotel has no draught beer and only sells small bottles of beer at £4 each. I paid extra for Breakfast, which was frankly unsatisfactory and unappealing in quality and presentation, you provided no healthy or continental options and absolutely the worst coffee (and only one machine working), I have ever encountered. You had visitors staying from all over the world there and I wondered what they must be thinking about your hotel and what message it says about your hotel, Swansea and Wales. The only positive I can offer you about my stay was the team who were clearly trying to do their best under difficult circumstances. I am not in the habit of providing ‘Trip Advisor’ public feedback as you are an employer and people will rely on you and your business, the region suffers enough. As a regular
