Our check in was very easy and informative. Our room was very clean and comfy. The pillows a bit too firm, that is a personal choice. The breakfast choice was amazing, but not a fan on buffet as the food doesn’t stay hot. But the food was to a high standard. Loved the quirkiness. Coffee was very good.

St. Michael’s Manor is a lovely hotel in beautiful grounds, with friendly, accommodating staff. It is within walking distance to the town centre and cathedral which is an added bonus. If we need to stay in St Alban's again St Michael's Manor will be our first choice.

Everything was perfect, the van was very clean, tidy and modern and perfectly situated only a very short walk to the beach, pubs/bars, restaurants and shops. This caravan will meet all expections and more. Thank you

I’m sorry to say this is not the cleanest of BnBs , room 2 which we were in was on the ground floor backing onto the breakfast room ,no chance of having a lie in when you can here everyone and everything going on ,in our bathroom there was mould on the ceiling and I’m sorry but when the sheet rolled back off the mattress this morning OMG 😦 scary this definitely needs to be replaced we do have pictures showing to back our comments up but at this stage we won’t be posting them ,these will be shown to booking.com directly giving the owner chance to rectify these issues

It was everything we had come to expect from a Holiday Inn Express Hotel apart from the two bad points detailed below.

The room needed better lighting. Also I believe the design of the room needed changing. The air conditioning was installed above the bed in the twin room which meant being blasted by hot or cold air when you were lying in it.

Two bathrooms, one is just a toilet and sink, not a full ensuite. Tired paintwork, bit tatty.

First off thought I’d get a drink and paid £6.34 for a pint which I’m sorry is absolutely disgusting pricing. Shower head feel off. Bathroom is Tatty and being on the top floor, I barely fit in the shower with the roof slant being in the way
