The only thing we struggled with was the lack of air con at night..but the staff provided us with a fan and it was fantastic and we totally understand that it's a graded building.fantastic week.

Brilliant choice for breakfast, everything you could want & more, hotel is in a very convenient location. Great view from our room window, we even saw the typhoons fly past.

A slightly larger bed would have been great for us as we are used to a king but we didn’t dislike the room for this reason it just would have been a better option for us.

I.didnt realise when I booked that the hotel financially was in trouble. This could be seen in alot of aspects. The gardens were overgrown and needed mowing. There is an emaciated cat who seemed to be the owners cat that was in poor shape to the point that I called the rspca to ask them to come get it. The bar ran out of draught beer so i had to buy bottled beer. The bathroom was very outdated and not welcoming at all. The windows had cobwebs inside so the cleaning was a little to be desired. The Health club closed down in October 2023 but there was no mention of this on the hotels website or on check in. The staff/location/weather definitely were the highlight. The Manor in the brochure was not a true reflection of how it is functioning now. Very disappointed, had I of known all of this I would of stayed at the alternative hotel I had seen.
