The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We booked all 12 rooms for family and friends attending a wedding nearby. We were really well looked after as a big group and very grateful to all the staff for their attention and service. Rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. Food was fantastic too. Thank you for looking after us all so well.

Super building, it feels like there's a huge history to it. Very friendly staff, good range of food and drink. Rooms were really comfortable. The venue had warned us that there would be music until the early hours but it didn't disturb us!

Car park was difficult to find, for a solo traveller, but one of our group was able to hop out of the car to ask for directions inside the hotel.

What's not to like? Great little house, great view, nice sheep for neighbours and beautiful sunsets. Altogether a great place to stay.

Only thing that could have made it better was a sheltered seating area.

The room had everything I needed when I finally managed to find it. There was a problem with towels which was resolved quickly.

The room was connected to another room with a closed up door which was quite noisy when the TV was on in the other room.

All the rooms very individual and very quirky. Very spacious bedrooms and freshly cooked to order breakfast in the morning.

Only one small window in the bedroom, which meant there was a significant lack of natural light. After hours entrance is through an adjoins residential area and the use of the property’s fire escape, which wasn’t very well lit up. There is then a digital keypad which has to be illuminated I order to enter the code. This is very temperamental to say the least, and it took quite some time to gain entry. Bar closed well before posted time, forcing us to use out of hours entrance No accessible entrance or lifts to rooms

Breakfast was delicious, hotel bar was welcoming, beds were comfy

Cost of parking - parking should be included, or at least a discounted price for hotel guests. We stay in this hotel due to convenience off the motorway, but it is now more cost effective to get the train, so likely to look at hotels more central. Parking cost us over £60 for just 2 nights!
