Rose cottage was lovely inside and very clean. We were 2 couples so it was very handy to have 2 bathrooms. Everything we needed was there and we loved the hot tub! Although we didn’t use it, there was also a BBQ. The property is located in a beautiful setting close to Balloch (5-10 mins by car) and Loch Lomond. The cottage is on an estate with several other nice cottages. It is very noticeable that they have thought of everything, including an area with washing machines and an ice machine!

It didn’t bother us but some people might not like the slight noise from the busy A82 which runs past the estate.

Lorraine and Andre were really great hosts, we received a very warm welcome, Andre even moved his car so we could park near the hotel for free, that was a really nice thing to do. The room was a good size, very clean and perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was really good. We will definitely be back when we next visit relatives. Would highly recommend this place and great value for money.

It was elegant, stylish, beautifully prepared for guests, first class in every way, right where you’d want to be but quiet. Everything was new.- and the best quality & design. The most comfortable beds with the whitest duvets and softest pillows. We will definitely return

I understood why we couldn’t check in until 4 pm as the quality of cleaning and preparation for new guests was outstanding. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Very easy and safe to walk to Coop arena for concert. ASDA 10 minutes by car. Off street parking. David the host met us at the house, was professional and helpful. House is set back off the main roads and the area is quiet.

House sleeps 6 but there is not sufficient crockery for 6 people. The Toilet seat hinge was broken and had 2 sticks holding the seat on. No hand soap in the bathroom. No hot water in the bathroom basin / bath and kitchen. There is only a power shower with hot water. There is WiFi but no code so we could not connect to it. I rated this house a 6 mainly because there was no hot water, broken toilet seat hinges and no WiFi code which is a pity as the rest of the house is clean and very comfortable.

My only minor gripe about my stay was not being able to use a HDMI cable to the TV, but again this only minor given the quality of the hotel
