The location was great for all local amenities and for touring around Lochalsh. The flat was clean and warm, views from the windows were wonderful, and it was so peaceful. Lots of hot water, comfy duvet and fresh linen and towels. The smart speaker was so good it's now on my 'present to myself' list. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The crockery and kitchen units were a bit tired, and the fridge door didn't close properly due to a problem with the door-mounted shelf. Some further enhancement to the decor in the sitting room would make it feel a bit more homely, however these issues did not detract from our break as they were minor to the feel of the property as a whole.

I was made to feel welcome on arrival and my needs catered for. As a solo female traveller, I didn't feel intimidated at all. I was given the choice of the 2 available rooms and chose one in the courtyard. The bed was comfy, the room immaculate and the shower was hot and powerful and divine. I would definitely stay again!

A very warm welcome from our host, Emma. Greeted with tea and homemade cake on arrival. Room very clean and comfortable. Accommodation was very homely and cosy. Wonderful breakfast with lots of homegrown and homemade produce, the granola was delicious!

Great location. Amazing views. Very comfortable room with a couch for chilling watching late night tv. Oh and there were 2 tvs. An honesty bar was welcome too.

Edmund was a great host. Cottage just what we needed for a short break for a nearby wedding. Pub food in the Lower Buck also great

The lady on reception wasn’t great! She told me I hadn’t paid for my room and wouldn’t let me check in even though I showed her on the app and my bank that the payment had been taken by them. I asked her what would happen next then as I had clearly paid £400 odd to the hotel and I wasn’t paying anymore and she replied “I don’t know come back later”. I think being on reception she needs to be more friendly and look approachable she seemed pretty grumpy to us and wasn’t willing to help or sort out the issue! Luckily when we did return a lovely young man was on the desk and we checked in straight away with him! So no idea what her problem was!
