Excellent check in and loads of parking available. Our room was comfortable,clean and spacious with a good ensuite. The building was modern and decorated to a good standard. The grounds were nice and well maintained. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the pub and both were good quality, tasty food at reasonable prices. All staff were friendly and helpful. Top of our list next time we are in the area.

This was brilliant! The room was very spacious, with high ceiling, all the furniture looked new and stylish. Very large, comfy bed. Very well equipped, the kitchen, the bathroom, everything, had all the facilities we needed and more. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Generally: very minor things: wish we could open the windows completely. A bottle of water and/or some refreshment in the fridge would also have been appreciated. The major disappointment - and the reason for 9 rather than 10 - was the breakfast. Very inferior to the rest of our experience. Bread and pastries were stale. Coffee maker broken and coffee machine making small portions of coffees. No fresh fried eggs, but pre-cooked small omelettes, dry sausages, no mushrooms or grilled tomatoes. It felt like being in an entirely different place from the main hotel. If they can improve this, they will be simply perfect!

Lovely charming hotel in a nice setting. We were able to take a stroll and found some lovely restaurants only a few minutes away. We had a lovely breakfast before heading off on our inward travels.

Sofas not very comfortable, Poor TV reception. Lounge is a bit dingy due to dark green colour scheme. Very annoying not to be able to park a car on the street particularly as there were always plenty of spaces I had to park a considerable distance away or pay £16 per day for the local municipal car park. This should have been mentioned before booking

the room where we stayed the shower door slides off its dangerous you need a new door that door is not secure and I had a bad leg It nearly hit my leg in the shower
