Considering how cheap this place is compared to most places in Manchester, it's pretty decent. You do have to share with other people, but you get your own room with a sturdy lock. Towels and a chocolate when you arrive, and even a free parking space which was super important for me. I didn't meet the host personally, but he was very quick to answer messages and informative

It's not the 'nicest' place to stay but I was more in the mood of 'i need a bed for the night'. There are some dents in the wall, and the surrounding feels a little sketchy. The pillows were quite thin but honestly thats personal preference - slept great anyway

Peaceful and tranquil location in the most beautiful of surroundings. Birdsong at all times! No traffic noise. Sitting in the gardens is stunning. Good Wi-Fi and lots of mirrors, which was perfect for 4 women sharing. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. You can't walk to a pub - but you can do lovely country walks straight from the door. Easy to find.

We were celebrating, so 4 champagne glasses would have been a bonus - and some hooks on the doors for coats and bathrobes - but these are minor things - not grumbles. No grocery stores nearby, but we knew that. Just remember your milk and teabags. Note: the entrance driveway is quite steep, you need to be fairly confident reversing out.

Position, staff, food were all excellent unfortunately the room let the inn down wallpaper hanging off wall carpet and wall had stains on them skirting boards needs cleaning. Bathroom needs altering toilet is unusable if towel rail is on.

We stayed a year ago and, location, food and staff are brilliant unfortunately the wallpaper was hanging off walls then and still is. Rooms need maintenance. Parking on Sunday is a problem due to how busy it gets

Booked it last minute, as my previous hotel I booked let me down, turned up 2 hrs after I booked it, all , and a very nice breakfast the nxt day, all the staff very friendly, and the staff at breakfast could not do enough for me

I loved the space and the apartment overall was very comfortable. The staff were amazing - I was allowed an earlier check-in to temporarily accommodate a family member, and the staff were very sympathetic and obliging.

We had a phone call just after dinner to say our room was ready early and we could check in if we wanted. The rooms we spotless. Very comfortable beds.

Our collection code kept coming back as invalid. Contacted customer services who hung up on us multiple times but eventually got it resolved and was provided with an alternative code. I find it strange to not be provided with any cleaning products. There also wasn’t any oven gloves provided so had to use one of the towels from the bathroom to take things out the oven. It also isn’t good having products left in fridge from previous guests such as jam and mayonnaise.
