Stayed in a large room overlooking the gardens. Comfy large bed. Used the kitchen to make snacks and cuppas. Able to leave food in the large fridge. Good location across the road from the mini steam train, you can walk up the tracks towards the station.

There were some cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The bathroom tiles could do with a good scrub with mould spray. Some kitchen spray and large blue roll to wipe the kitchen down would be advantageous. Visited The Woolpack (sister hotel) for food, we had arrived late in the evening and were starving. The sign said pizza till 9pm on a weekend. Tried to order one at 8.40pm and the customer service lacking barman said that the sign was old and we couldn't order.

Fantastic friendly owner. Lazio suite is brilliant. Breakfast was very nice (the steak & eggs were amazing). Parking was fine, EV charger is a nice touch. Room is well equipped (coffee machine, robes, shampoo etc…)

Lovely barn conversion on a farm. You have to drive up a farm track, but it was not a problem. High quality throughout and much better than staying in a hotel.

Rooms was large and comfortable. Well equipped with everything you need. Safe pay for car , very helpful owner Paul and even people who gave key very helpful.

The toilet was too low. It was like a child’s toilet. I have mobility issues and had difficulty getting up from the seat in such an enclosed space

Room was tiny I’m slightly over weight 14 stone and I couldn’t fit on toilet or in shower very cramped . Add says it has a restaurant it doesn’t it’s juts a house with separate rooms there is no food on site .location is poor out front is a busy main road with lots of rubbish everywhere . The back garden is overgrown and in a bad state not nice at all if ya keep curtains shut and don’t look outside it’s ok .
