Perfect location, lovely hotel and staff all very friendly. Breakfast had loads of choice and food was great. The room was really modern and furnished beautifully. We had an upgrade so even better!

The staff were helpful and tried to resolve issue quickly. The room was comfortable and we had an enjoyable stay. The children enjoyed the games room.

There were a number of issues during our stay a broken bed that couldn't be resolved for our first night but was changed for the second. Issues with the bath water in my parents room. Issues with the kitchen so food was served in the Wookey hole restaurant so food and drink options were limited. The first night it was very unclear what was and wasn’t available but a temporary revised menu was available the second night. We liked eating in the restaurant as it meant we could all sit together as a table of 7 which would not have been available in the hotel restaurant. Staff did their best to resolve the issues and limit the impact. We were refunded a small amount for the broken bed.

The room is fine for the normal price of £ 44 per night , but the worst value ever when a concert is in town and it cost £ 304 for one night

The cost , just profiteering. I realise every other hotel was at it too.

The size of the room (junior suite). The bathroom was gorgeous!

The pull out bed was so uncomfortable. My boys didn’t sleep much at all. The staff member who checked us in was abrupt and not at all friendly. However, the bar staff were lovely.
Positive section of review
The bed was comfy and breakfast was lovely.

Only thing I could say is the stairs are steep if staying on the top floor.

Good location, and clean spacious room

Forced to go on phone and book through third party as staff were unable to offer a reasonable price anywhere near the online price. No firm closing time given for the bar... 11 to 12 depending on how busy. Arrived back at hotel 11:05 to find bar full of people but closed!
