A cheeky night away turned out to be something special. The Lower Batter Farm was like a something from a fairytale, absolutely beautiful with the highest quality furniture and fittings (better than 5* hotels we have stayed at) current pictures don’t do it justice to the place. “Everything was superb. Scenery divine! Facilities sublime! Cleanliness excellent. Bed was so soft and comfortable, lovely toiletries. Luxury of a hot tub and a dome in the fields was grand. Lovely pub close by. Amy and Gavin were great hosts, so welcoming, they went above and beyond

Fantastic location for first time Liverpool tourists. All major tours steps away. Lots of attractions at the Docks. Great selection of restaurants next door. It's England/ liverpool...could have used a pub near by, but otherwise great. Hotel breakfast was good, nice inclusion. Rooms could use an update. Mattresses weren't great, but rooms were big and always clean. Great views.

Not quite close enough to city center to walk everytime. Not a long walk, but after a big day, or a rainy day, it was a hike. Just a bit too far. Wifi was down for the entire stay which was odd.

We arrived and were placed in Room 529, the room was incredible. The size of the room was fantastic, by far the biggest room we'd ever had! The view of the river Tyne is lovely and everything was very clean. We love coming back to the Copthorne each year when I visit my family. The parking is a breeze with the multi-storey right there and for £10 a night you can't complain!

It’s a gorgeous old building with lots of character and the breakfast was superb. The dining staff were amazing, cheerful and helpful.

Good location, nice views. Young lady at breakfast who was in charge really tried to make it work.

Parking space was limited. Coffee cups in the room were not clean when we arrived. No space in the bathroom to place toiletries. No space to place your bags. Only place in Scotland we visited that didn't except amex. Staff is understaffed, young and mostly inexperienced to provide sufficient hospitality for the price range, eventhough they try their best. Furthermore, the restaurant was clean, except for difficult to reach places, such as lighting etc. In this spacious place dust and cobwebs are very noticeable.
