The hotel really exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and helpful from arrival to departure. Our room was very well equipped with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits replenished each day. A mini fridge was also available so small items could be kept cool. A lovely touch was the complimentary block of chocolate. The beds were really comfortable too. The bathroom was equally well equipped and we also had use of a hair dryer, iron/iron board, slippers and bathrobes. Breakfasts were a delight with loads of choice- from cereals, toast, fruit and yogurts to pastries, muffins and full English cooked breakfast. We also dined in the restaurant and our meals were equally good. Finally, the location was great and within easy walking distance of the town and so helpful to have use of a secure onsite car park. Would definitely recommend and will return again.

I had a very comfortable stay. It's a self check-in with the instructions sent to you to your booking account and via text. I asked if I could leave my suitcase before check-in time and that was absolutely no problem. Very clear and good communication. The room itself was immaculate with your own bathroom and fridge. You can make your own coffee/tea and there are communal areas downstairs where you can prepare a meal and sit down. It is about at 15 - 20 minute walk to the train station.and about 10 minutes to the local high street. Would definitely recommend!

A short drive from to the nearest local train station taking you into Bath (10 min ride). Cosy room and even comfier bed. Windows opened fully, letting the air flow when it got warm. Breakfast was tasty.

Fantastic location, very bright no lift though so access to higher floors if you have a mobility issue will be very difficult

Room too hot. Shower looked like it was in process of being grouted round edges. Very tired old bathroom in need of updating. Old lino on floor , Dirty breakfast dishes on tables in bar when I went into eat dinner at 6pm. Also tables in lounge bar were still dirty from lunchtime, Because the room was so hot, I couldn't sleep so I got up and left for long journey home at 4am...quite a waste of money
