Lovely old authentic property Very welcoming hostess, Toni went out of her way to give any assistance she could offer - like storing a stack of cheese for me in her fridge!! A delightful little dog, Toffee, as extra company! Excellent breakfast, food ultra fresh.

My only negative remark would be the lack of a mirror near a plug to see when drying one’s hair. I add this as an after-thought.

The owner agreed for us to come 1h earlier and leave our bags, which was kind.

- Lack of any communication. We received no directions, there was no sign on the door that would allow us to identify the building (it turned out that the building number was actually the flat number on this street), we didn't know whether to expect a reception desk or self check-in. It turned out it was self check-in, but we only found out how to enter after calling the owner. - Not all facilities advertised were available: Internet (maybe it was there, but no one told us how to access it), slippers (which we specifically asked for when we called the owner, even though the owner confirmed they would be available), tea/coffee maker in all rooms (there was only an electric kettle in the shared kitchen). For around 3 rooms, there were also only 2 mugs (one of which was taken to the room by other guests, and the other which was dirty in the kitchen for more than a day, even though the cleaner was in the flat in the meantime) and 2 forks. - In the bathroom, there was also nowhere to hang the towel, and the bathroom wasn't clean enough to simply put it somewhere. (Same as the rest of the flat.)

Very well situated, near a lot of attractions a public transport.

I was in the studio 401 and a privacy screen must be installed in the lower window since you have a direct view of the bed in the next studio. Lack some privacy if you don’t want to close the blinds completely. Also, you can hear everything when people are talking the corridors and you’re in the studio. But overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
