Nothing about the room ,it was absolutely terrible and claustrophobic basically a room which was 7” by 11” including the bathroom and the worth thing it did not have any windows .hated it and very disappointed .can’t see if there was a fire how you would have survived .Do not choose this Hotel for relaxing or chilling .but the location and the only staff where good .

The breakfast was nice, the room was fairly clean aside from other little bits, entertainment was good and drink options were also good. If you didn’t want a drink that was included in the all inclusive I’ve was very cheap for something that was not on the all inclusive (between £1-£4) Reception staff were extremely helpful and so nice.

The food options were extremely limited. Breakfast was buffet style but was only really full English or cereal options. Lunch was also buffet style but only one meal (fish and chips for example were the only things out on the Saturday). Dinner was buffet style of starters and deserts however the mains was a set menu that was not catered to everyone. We was not able to eat the mains due to pregnancy and allergies. The room offered to us on booking.com was a large sea view room however we received an extremely small room but it did have a very nice sea view. Part of the buffet bar was not blocked off and when my partner who did not realise you could not go behind there accidentally went behind there he was scolded by one of the staff instead of being politely being told not to. There was no barrier or sign to say you could not go there. The waiter was called Michael. The bathroom was pretty small as well, the bath was tiny and the shower was very low down, my partner kept hitting his head as if was not a detachable shower head. The slip mat also did not work, as I slipped while getting out the shower. Luckily I landed on my feet as I am pregnant and if I fell it could have been worse.

Never stayed in an apartment for a weekend break, and I can't fault anything from start to finish. Communication was great, all my questions answered, directions, info etc, brilliant and the apartment was spotless and spacious. Nice touches with milk, cereals, etc. Highly recommend 👌

Everything really. You don't meet any staff, but the one conversation I had (with Kia?) she was extremely helpful. Room was spacious, clean. Good quality shower. Mostly very good.

There seemed to be no sound barrier between the room and the streets outside. Given that it is right next to Cardiff university campus, there were people strolling around most of the night, and even polite conversation sounded like they were in my room. Did not sleep very well at all. But everything else, fine. Just take earplugs!

I was given a key room 8 and was told by the receptionist/Manager that he had to put the heating on as it was a bit cold. on entering the room there was a distinct smell of mould/faustyness in the room. there were cushions and bedding outside the room and the location was down in the basement almost! I complained and was told this was an economy room and if I wanted to change I had to upgrade and pay £10 more which I agreed to. The room on the first floor was great it should have been the one we should have been offered as pictures on my booking depicting this is the type of room I paid £82 per night for. The room was generally clean however there was what we thought was a dead spider in the room above our heads but when we woke at 4 and switched lights on the spider woke and landed on our bed! it didn’t bother me but my partner was a bit startled.

It's not a cottage, it is an attached terraced house. Parking is 'on street', the road is very narrow with parking on both sides and very limited availability, not good at all.
