  The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Just the little things that mean a lot. There isn't a lift, so the receptionist moved me to a ground floor room without being asked as I had a heavy suitcase. The cleaner saw me coming and went back and held the door open for me. The waitress in the restaurant was really lovely. The food was excellent for evening meal and breakfast. Very easy walking distance to the airport.

  There were a couple of hairs in the bath and sink. No extractor fan in the bathroom. No view from my room but I wasn't bothered.

  The hotel has been refurbished and looks great. The staff were very friendly and looked after our luggage, so we could go off exploring. Close to everything. The room was modern, and clean, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast was limited but adequate.

  The room was tiny. Had to climb over each other to get in and out of bed. Smallest hotel room I have ever been in.

  Beautiful property to stay in, good facilities and comfy beds. Great location for Bishop Stortford train station and town centre. We have family who live within walking distance.A little shop and restaurants on your doorstep.

  Tricky parking and no charger for electric car. Luckily we could park at family’s house nearby. Bolton Wanderers lost at Wembley!

  Great location on Bedford street. Staff were really friendly and accommodating.

  For the price of the stay I felt a few things were overlooked. No tea or milk available and had to make a request for it to be refilled. Room service was really poor and the pizza ordered was inedible. The breakfast was really nice but again I was surprised that there were no croissants or Nutella as I was staying with my 10 year old daughter and that is always a treat breakfast. Not deal breakers at all and overall we enjoyed our stay but for the price of the stay I felt these things should have been available.
