The accommodation is in a separate annex to the main house where breakfast is served in a lovely period dining room which is fitting with the house.Sharon is welcoming, accomodating and informative. Accommodation has everything you want for a quiet overnight stay in a countryside setting. Comfortable bed with pillow choices and a good shower. Continental breakfast options are better than some establishments that charge more for inclusive breakfast. Options for Bread and associated accompaniments are excellent. Good menu options for hot food which was well cooked and presented. If you have time - follow the woodland trail and arrive down at Lough Erne. Countryside and farm views fabulous including the livestock. Look out for the various bird residents including swallows nesting in the farm yard.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The accommodation was bright clean and spacious. The kitchen was great with everything we needed and enough space for 4 of us to cook and prepare an evening of dining and entertainment. The outdoor space was fabulous and we benefited from great weather. There was loads of storage space and had more than we expected. The welcome pack was a lovely touch with Prosecco, Bread, Tea and Milk. There were board games videos and books to keep us entertained.

The only let down was there was only 1 bathroom with toilet, wash basin and large walk-in shower. But the queue for the bathroom for 6 adults was difficult to manage. Suggestion: - the utility room could easily be converted to a second bathroom (it currently only houses a tumble dryer and stores the vac and other cleaning equipment, which could easily be stored elsewhere)

Bed was comfy, great location, good ensuite size, entertainment and bar on site was good. Room a good size set up like a Travelodge or Premier Inn bedroom very similar in style.

The cleaners would come into my room without knocking first to see if I was in or wanted my room cleaned. There were no signs to put on the door to say if you wanted not to be disturbed - that would be useful. The first day a young man did knock first but all the other days the other cleaners would just open my door and come in, one time walked right in when I was undressing! No knock at all just came right in. The outside area with chairs needs cleaning chairs were full of cobwebs, really old cigarettes and bugs and such in the ashtrays.

Location great for walking down to Shibden hall. Not too far out of halifax either. Comfortable bed and nice to have a fridge. Catered for extra request of a room with a bath.

When I arrived I was told that If I booked on their website I would have received a free breakfast. Instead because I booked through booking.com it was going to be £20 extra. Would have been good to know before booking rather than on arrival.
