Almost everything in this hotel is impossibly fantastical.... the staff were exceptionally extraordinarily perfect, especially the night receptionist. The room (the basement vault no1) was brilliant quirky and I loved the story behind the room... 100% definitely will stay again.

The only things I could nit pick at was the fact our room (bathroom area) seemed a little unfinished but this added to the industrial quirk... the placement of the bed was right at the door to the shower and I found my pillows were slightly wet after the shower had been on... but again nothing the heating couldn't dry out quickly.

The owners are lovely, nothing was too much for them and they even put a birthday card and bottle of Prosecco in the room. They gave us restaurant recommendations and we had 2 wonderful meals. The breakfasts were great and I appreciated having a parking spot.

It's a really small thing, but I would have liked the mugs washed on the Saturday (we used them for a hot drink prior to going out on the Friday night and again for a cuppa before breakfast on both mornings) and the Prosecco glasses removed. But otherwise everything was wonderful!

A functional hotel of a decent enough standard. I had a very high ceiling room which gave a sense of loads of space, although more colour or wall art would have made it feel more comfortable rather than empty. Room facilities all good for a 4 nite stay.

Lovely room nice to have a different experience. Hosts and breakfast were excellent, good value for money! On street parking only but we did get a space thankfully. We look forward to staying again at the French room😀

406 Room wardrobe doors falling off hinges hinges on show and sticking out room not clean dirty dusty and satins on wall cutlery and dirty underwear behind the bed shower screen barley hanging on towel rail kept falling off also went for breakfast and plates that were stacked up for us to use for breakfast were dirty also a howling humming noise coming from bathroom
