The house is very well appointed and clean. The hosts have gone out of their way to ensure that everything was just right . We appreciated the information provided and the little extras to make our stay comfortable. The distance to the centre of Harrogate was a positive too.

Parking wasn't available right outside the property but we were still able to park on the opposite side of the road where the vehicle was easily seen from the house.

Beautiful location with a walk down to the shore of the Loch. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, quality was excellent and the service very good with helpful staff. The bathroom in particular had been beautifully done.

For the money it was a small room. In common with many other hotels there wasn't much in the way of storage. Just 4 hangers and a couple of small drawers. The lighting around the dressing mirror is totally inadequate.

Good parking facilities straight off main road into Oban, good location for walking into Oban.

We were told we could use the bar until 8pm however there was no-one in the bar nor any staff around to ask for a drink so we walked into town. I had a great / large room but unable to leave windows open (event though hot weather) due to noise of road. The side of the hotel where you enter is painted yellow and looks run down.

I did not realise this hotel was on top of Wetherspoons, being a Friday night it was noisy, our air con was very temperamental we had to get the lady to come to our room to help us, the switch for the kettle didn’t work so we plugged it into the other switch and it worked, the stairs in the main hall was filthy, and tbh for the price we paid for the room I’ve certainly stayed in better hotel, breakfast was limited I like continental and my partner likes full English, so no continental only a box of cereal, and a choice of full English or eggs Benedict, and if u want more than one cup of tea it’s a £1 ????? I think poor for £150 a night stay plus paying for parking £12 for 24 hours So not the best place we have stayed we won’t be retuning

Breakfast was good and looked after by good staff.

Bed was terrible. Feel every spring. We had a delayed flight and when we checked in the lady seemed totally disinterested in us never said hello or made eye contact. Pity as the morning staff were excellent. It’s important for people who have had a bad day traveling to be made to feel Welcome and we didn’t.
