The location was great, right in the centre of the beautiful town of Settle. We were a 20 min drive from Malham Cove and 20 mins from Ingleton Waterfalls, both fantastic destinations for hiking. The Settle Carlisle railway journey is very scenic, even on an overcast day. There is a a great wholefood shop attached to the property which was handy to stock our kitchen, and there was a local Co-op nearby and a Booths a little further. Our hosts were very friendly, leaving welcome goodies for our arrival, and everything ran smoothly. We had everything we needed to self cater in the apartment and the lounge and bedroom were really comfortable and cosy. There was outdoor space to sit in the sunshine beside the property but plenty of parks and green spaces nearby to sit in comfort too.

As a last minute emergency hotel room due to a mistake, it was perfect! We were glad we could get something so last minute for a decent price. All the staff were really lovely and the food in the pub as very tasty! Bed was comfy and we slept well. The area is also very convenient to get to from the motorway and is also very pretty! Would definitely consider staying again next time we visit.

The hotel was ideally placed within walking distance of Princes Street. There was a good choice of eating places close by as well as food shops. The room was large and airy. The double windows kept most of the noise out. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful

Little things which could easily be rectified- only one chair (this is a double room), bedside lights were pathetic, duvet was too small. The lift was on the blink when we were there and got stuck a few times (not betwen floors!). The vibration from the passing trams was noticeable.

Very nice hosts, quiet location, thoughtful breakfast setup, comfy bed and cozy room. Loved the garden access also and travelled with a small dog so it was so helpful to have some space.

Very nice and large bungalow, used it for sleeping while hiking during day times. We would definitely book again, we enjoyed!

Swimming pool was closed "for maintenance" just shortly before we arrived. We didn't use it as weather was fine for hiking, but in case of rain we planned this for a backup possibility (therefore it was one of the major reasons for choosing this accomodation). Would have been fair to update the accomodation description.
