The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Although I didn't spend much time in the property as I was attending a wedding, the bed was lovely and comfortable. It was also very quiet and situated in beautiful surroundings close to local attractions. There is a beautiful garden. It has a nice pub just up the road and a fabulous garden centre/cafe. I would definitely come back to stay for longer.

Needed a last minute accommodation, was very grateful to find this place. Received videos on how to get into the apartment and where to find the keys, so we didn't have to rush for check-in. As breakfast included - there was food and drinks left for us in the fridge. We were also able to park for free behind the building. Thank you!

The house is very well appointed and clean. The hosts have gone out of their way to ensure that everything was just right . We appreciated the information provided and the little extras to make our stay comfortable. The distance to the centre of Harrogate was a positive too.

Parking wasn't usually available right outside the property but we were still able to park and see our vehicle from the house.

It was fun staying in the small village, the riverbank and proximity to the castle were great. It was nice to have an entire cottage to ourselves, a lot more space than a hotel room and wonderful to get some washing done!

Parking was awkward. There were constantly other cars parked out front of the cottage, we were never able to get our car in there. One evening we came home around 8 pm and there was no parking anywhere in the entire village near the cottage. Having the bedrooms upstairs and bathroom downstairs was also tricky, when needing to spend a penny in the middle of night. The Netflix didn’t work, couldn’t access that. There was several red diffuses placed around the house that crowded overpowering perfume smell. We had to put them all in a cupboard because it made me sneeze and cough.

The apartment was well located & spacious and suited our requirements. Booking was straightforward though gaining access initially was a little confusing but the staff member I called couldn't be more helpful.

The only complaint I have regards the condition of the duvet on the bed settee, it was clean but beginning to fall apart and was really in need of replacing.

Clean, comfortable and tidy rooms. Typical of a motorway hotel. Although not noticeably noisy.

The continental breakfast served to our room in a box may not be the every persons taste, it was reasonably generous for the money.

The room was comfortable with great views of the harbour and sea. Great location.

Fantastic central location Easy walking around Harrogate town centre
Negative section of review
We had superior rooms However the very large bathroom was empty Large walk in shower but no shelving or vanity surfaces throughout Very bare empty walls in bathroom made the space cold and unwelcoming Very few mirrors No full length mirror No interior design so disappointing not as expected compared to the beautiful contemporary downstairs decor

Great location

My room was at back of hotel which was fine except the mouse from the street outside was terrible. Single glazed windows. Also room really warm. Squeaky floor boards everywhere so heard everyone around me
