  This place is amazing , the bothy is so cosy , everything is eco friendly and very high quality products , the fire pit and bbq are amazing , location very secluded but yet close to the costal path , ideal for walking and cycling , the coffee provide was excellent

  Mid Lodge is a lovely house in an amazing location. Everything was great, from the comfortable rooms to the very private location surrounded by the beautiful Penninghame Estate. We absolutely loved it and would come back whenever we visit Galloway again.

  Loved the gardens and the relaxed setting. They also allowed us early check in as my son was a little ill. Beds were very comfortable, reception staff were very helpful and happy. The restaurant staff were also lovely.

  Tried to call room service a few times but didn't get through. No biggy, they were probably busy and eventually we had some very delicious food delivered to the room that was also reasonably priced.

  It’s probably fair to say you get what you pay for and everything missing when you don’t pay a little extra. The host was kind but my experience was limited for 1 night.

  Limited room facilities, poorly decorated, strange smell maybe dogs, fell well below previous B&B experiences as I travel the country. Sorry but this is how I see it
