Positive section of review
Well located for Terminal 4 and easy access to London via underground. Apart from the bar, there were limited areas to socialise without background music. Bedroom generally quiet, even though we were at the end of the corridor near the lifts. Good breakfast, although they could do better with continental selection.

The staining of the carpet in the room. During stay the hotel was cleaning the corridor carpet, but it was the rooms that needed attention. There seemed to be paint spilled on the carpet. The beds were not that comfortable. We asked for a twin room but were allocated a double - which in fairness was quickly rectified.

Location for London business district was great and opportunity for public transport excellent. Hotel was fabulous and unique and comfortable. Shower pressure amazing. Room was wonderful - comfortable bed and bedding. Reception excellent.

Positive: - good location - clean - pretty quiet - basic ingredients oil, vinegar, salt and pepper present in the kitchen - seamless check-in procedure Neutral: - mattress is a bit hard, but tastes differ on this

Negative: - non-stick pans and pots all have scratches; my understanding is that it’s safer not to use scratched Teflon cookware - window in the bathroom doesn’t close properly because of the effects temperature and humidity have had on the wood over time - minor: toilet paper holder is loose; tiles in the bathroom have cracks
