It’s modern and the facilities are clean and well looked after. The keyless entry is a real plus so you don’t have an extra thing to carry around with you. Was privileged enough to meet the owner who was particularly hospitable and even helped us out with parking overnight. The bar downstairs was fantastic and made for a very nice afternoon in the outside area

Perfect location for us, staff were nice and bedroom was great for us. We were right at the top and my builder partner enjoyed the view of the building work being done. This didnt disturb our stay at all and would definitely stay here again. Being able to leave baggage before and after check in was also a huge bonus for us

There are several flights of stairs as we were at the top so without a lift this could be tricky for others. Didnt bother us and staff did offer us a hand if needed.

Excellent location, not far to restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. We hired a day boat, and it was easy to moor at the property's private mooring to load and unload. There were lots of extras provided, for instance, biscuits, tea, milk and condiments, which was a nice touch.

Very, very nice hotel staff from receptionist to the waiters in the breakfast room. Very clean and comfortable room. We have not tried the spa this time, but we will for sure when we return.

Room too small, noise from banging doors at adjacent rooms. Quality of decor including in the bar and beer garden area- all looked quite tired and not at all like the photos.
