The accommodation was stunning and equipped with everything we could have needed. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. There were beautiful views and it was conveniently located on the outskirts of Cardiff and for us to attend a local wedding. The owners were very welcoming and although their property was next door it felt very private and we were able to come and go as we pleased as they provided a fob for the electric gates. Would definitely stay again and would thoroughly recommend to others.

I stayed in a small pod like room as a single traveller. Very well designed, single bed, TV, full size fridge which was very quiet, kettle, microwave, bistro table, sink with washing up liquid sponge and drying cloth. All towels and toiletries provided. I have stay in much bigger hotel rooms with only half of the equipment provided. Highly recommend

We found The Bickford Arms pleasurable and comfortable. The room was bright and airy but still gave a feeling of warmth and cosines. The staff were so very accommodating and went out of their way to please us. It was a pleasure to talk to Keith about any subject.

Being of the older generation we had a problem bringing down our luggage but understandably they do not have a lift.

We spent 2 nights in room #2. Nice, clean, well equipped and good quality. We could even fully see Ben Nevis short before we left. Excellent location to explore the beautyful region by car. Kind welcome and recommendations received from Tom and Natalie.

Room beautiful but bottom of bed bit dirty. Valances would cover it. We prefer hard mattresses too soft. But neighbours said there was opposite. So if you ask before I'm sure they could accommodate.

Wasn’t aware at the time but there were two other properties at either side one of which was a large house which had a Hen Party in on the second night of our visit. As we wanted a quiet retreat the amount of cars, people and noise was a bit annoying, but would check if we were going to return as the location is lovely. Phil the host was easily contacted as we had an issue with the hot tub not working, to which he said he would sort the next day. Unfortunately that was our check out. He did however compensate us with a £50 refund for the inconvenience.
