the twin beds in the bedroom were very sturdy and nice and their was a matress topper onto of the mattres! the room wasn't very large for two larger older folk men travellers but we managed ok. the bathroom and walk-in shower was lovely and designed for a large person or two showering together - a couple. there was plenty of lovely hot water in, when showering on the departing monday morning - and free shower gel and shampoo conditioner in the shower - and hand sink - great!! the young manager lady - was brillant, both young ladies on the reception desk checking-in and the young bar tender, server lady here all! the sunday accommodation price was was 68pds for the night, with a 9pds car parking charge on-site in the reception area, paid on arrival! this ibis motel, hotel is situated right behind the very large morrisons warehouse and scania new truck sales unit, compound, in near bridgewater, just on the righthand side of the M5 Motorway traveling southbound.

Unfortunately I found a few hairs in, on the bathroom floor, and two milk pods were left on the back of the desk in the bedroom no.219 when we checked into the hotel on saturday evening. the dinning room prices are a bit high, but aimed at the business type and wealthy type of person traveller. my brother tried the house - garlic bread that came with a small pot of tomato - this designer cooking it look nicely cooked and presented all for 7.60pds or near - it looked very good quality and smelt nice! I went down for some breakfast later on and the hot food breakfast buffet had run out of tomato's - i asked the very nice older waitress lady - and she said there may be a supply issue that needs addressing for the fresh tomatoes but they could have carried some large catering tins of plum tomatoes in the kitchen background - ordered by the head chef, hotel manager type of person as -up for running out of tomatoes here!?

Julie, wonderful host!! Tasty full Welsh breakfast and lots of other choices. Location close to everything. Beautiful, easy hiking trails around town. Local bus to Mount Snowdon. Julie arranged a taxi back from Snowden as we were returning after the last bus. Our driver Vernon was full of local knowledge. Great trip!!!

So close to train station, very little walking, could leave your bags in even before the room is ready so you can walk about freely, rooms were spotless, close to all restaurants, beach, amusements, owner was lovely and messaged you back quickly if you had any questions, we really enjoyed our stay

Great location to explore Edinburgh! The place was clean and easy to reach, only 20 min walk to the city centre and close to a scenic hiking point. Highly recommended!
