The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The breakfast was buffet style and good quality but could have been warmer. Dining room comfortable and tables well spaced out. We were given a free upgrade, lovely room, very comfortable. Staff friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location, really close to the town and the beaches but also in a quiet street away from the busy main road.

Area was perfect for our needs (supporting family member doing a triathlon. Access to washing machine was useful (lucky we brought washing powder with us) Dishwasher would have been useful but no tablets provided, so not used.

Cobwebs all around outside area, some inside too. Also weeds around entrance way to property- made it look pretty shabby compared to neighbouring properties. No information about how to use hob and microwave- both were unfamiliar to us. No information about area eg maps, local attractions etc. Second bedroom was used by two adults- beds were really meant for children (bit short and lumpy mattresses)

Location very convenient and central. Living area and main bedroom were spacious, clean, bright and airy. The bathroom was clean and large. Good shower. The bed was very comfy.

We were very surprised to be asked to pay an additional (non refundable) fee of either £10 or £25, prior to travel, for damage waiver. This should be clearly advertised, or included in the original cost of the booking. The information for both parking and rubbish disposal were very unclear and unhelpful. We messaged for clarification re parking on arrival. Our second text message was ignored. We were advised to park in the designated parking area. There wasn't one. The kitchen area was tiny, with no usable work surface. Many plates, dishes etc were still in original shop packaging, the mugs still had Ikea stickers attatched. Plates and glasses were stored in a pantry type cupboard along, with the mop and vacuum! There was no dishwasher, one was advertised. Both bedrooms really need a minimum of an additional chest of drawers and / or dressing table. The only storage for clothes was a clothes rail. We lived out of our bags for a week. There was no hairdryer. The appartment appeared to have been very recently decorated, and stocked / furnished. (It smelt of paint initially). I really hope these issues are just teething problems, but this apartment really didn't feel anything like fully prepared for guests, or particularly welcoming.

The location was great, about half an hour train ride to all main sightseeing stops. It's a good place if you'll only use it to come and sleep at night.

It was a shared bathroom and the cleaning could've been better, I couldn't use the toilet once and had to wait until the next day so it'd be cleaned. I also asked for clean towels because there was only one pair (even though it was a 2-person room) they never brought it. The rooms smell of so much chemical cleaning materials we had to air the room the whole night.

The location is fantastic, a very short walk from London Bridge tube station and the Borough Markets. Pub food is good and the discount on drinks is great too.

There’s no shared facilities like a regular backpackers would have - so not great for saving money on food while you’re there. Obviously the pub is open quite late and patrons make lots of noise, it’s easy enough to tune out with headphones.

Not too near the noisy busy part of Blackpool but near enough for a pleasant walk into town. Lovely sea views

Spotlessly clean, helpful and professional staff, comfortable bed, great value.

Service was absolutely appalling, we stayed 4 nights not once were our bed changed or made, room not cleaned just fresh towels every day. Mini bar not refilled or coffee, no clean mugs, rubbish or glasses from the bar not removed. Breakfast service was awful, staff undertrained, I handed back a coffee as the mug was clearly unwashed and got a clean mug that was chipped. There was a sign saying wait to be seated after waiting a good 15 we just sat down and I had to get up and ask to be served, the food was actually nice but we wouldn’t dare have dinner there as the service was so bad and tables not set properly. Reception staff should not be the face of the business, standing around on their phones and have zero people skills. We went to the bar one night and ended up taking our drinks to the room as it was all the breakfast staff getting pissed so unprofessional and explains why breakfast was horrendous.
