Unique little cottage in ideal location. We had the best night sleep ever on a holiday, due to the double glazed, well fitted windows, the firm but comfortable mattress and the not too hot covers for the time of year.I was impressed, how well my special requests (because of various medical conditions) were taken into account! The Manager is living next door and the owners are Professionals. We did not know how the "Free Breakfast" would work on six nights. Now we realise that the items are left in the kitchen on arrival and if more is needed during the stay you can ask for it

Somewhere in the accommodation description a cooker top is mentioned and the user manual is there, but there is only a microwave. The crockery is limited but very clean! However, with a bit of thought we managed, without ready meals or takeaways and had a lovely holiday!

The seclusion, the view, the cleanliness, the bed, the greeting, the shower, the off grid feeling, the horses and donkeys and the sound of nature constantly. Only distant noise from a main road but more like white noise very quiet The vineyard next door and the walk to the pub. Overall a great night thank you.

I can't write this without it sounding a whole lot worse than it actually was, and to be honest with you it's kind of expected with any off grid stay but I could smell the toilet (the tank underneath not the actual loo. That was spotless like everywhere else) whilst sat on the balcony when the breeze was in our direction. Easily forgiven considering the nature of the accommodation and didn't spoil anything at all and is really the only thing that I can say negative. Genuinely. Thanks and see you again! I'll be telling my friends 😀

Lovely stay - welcoming - easy check in. Great location in the centre of Southwold. No parking on site however free parking on the street just at rear and in car parks- Pleasant room - great breakfast.

Loved Perth as usual.was a friends group meet up a kinda convention re New Seekers meet up. The hotel was amazing, staff so helpful and loved the food and things on offer.i plan to stay there again

One of our party tripped and fell over the step into the lounge. The receptionist expected one of us to ring 111 but she was told it wasn't our job to do that. Didn't call a taxi for her to be taken to hospital, again 2 of our party took her. We quoted it was a health and safety issue that there should have been a sign saying mind the step or maybe put some tape along the step warning people but was told it doesn't go with the decor. Obviously the decor is more important than the guests. Cobwebs in the room and the pipes in the bathroom were not clean. We stayed in April and thought it was ok But would I stay there again? NO I don't think I would.

Room 15! Originally allocated room 15 which on entering had an overwhelming smell of excrement being unsuccessfully masked by copious amounts of air freshener. We reported this to reception and we were immediately offered another room.
