Paul, Debbie and Cleo :) are the nicest most sincere hosts, so accommodating and friendly, who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. It was like staying in a home away from home. They were extremely helpful with recommendations on places to visit. The hotel is close to everything we wanted to see walking or by car. Superb breakfasts cooked by chef Paul👌. The room had all the amenities we needed, and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. We absolutely loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oystercatcher. 100% recommend. Thank you 10/10!! 😁

Rooms were clean and tidy with excellent bathroom facilities, especially for one person travelling on their own, made a change from the usual box rooms I get. I was pleased the receptionist carried my suitcase up the stairs for me saving me a second trip as I had a second bag to take, good customer service and I had not asked him to do this.

Need to let people know there are no lifts, there will be a times when people arrive and are not able to use the stairs or at the least carry their bags up and down the stairs. The breakfast was supposed to be available from 7, the person running it only came in at 7 and was not ready by 7.30 so I had no breakfast as I had a flight to catch.

This place is amazing. Can't really fault anything. It is massive! Pictures don't do it justice. Great location for going into Blackpool centre (15 min walk from pleasure beach) and st annes (10 min taxi ride). I would highly reccomend to friends and family and would return myself.

Only fault was the shower base was slippery when in use. Nothing a mat wouldn't sort.

We got to check in 1 hrs early. Very clean room. Good shower. Quiet..apart from crazy seagulls. Big bar with amazing views of Scarbourough. Plenty of seating areas other than your room. beach. Location. The grandure of the building.

Really wonderful! Clean, calm, a couple of minutes walk to the bus for Gatwick. Very clear instructions for checking in. Cheerful decor, comfortable - everything you could ask for for the price. Really appreciated, thanks!

We picked a weekend where they were having a Beer Festival with music so we were impacted by noise we didn’t factor into our stay. But our fault for not taking it into account.

The property was tired and unloved. For such a beautiful old building I expected it to be well cared for and have original features but instead inside it looked like an abandoned 80's flat. There was a jacuzzi bath, which I filled with water, it took quite a while to fill but a notice warned this was the case, so that was OK. I turned on the water jets when it was filled and loads of black bits appeared in the water from the jets. It put me right off and I let the water out. So much of the flat looked tired, and tatty, it had a cold empty feel to it. The wall unit looked as if it had been dragged out of Dracula's crypt.... not even in keeping with the 80's feel. The only thing the place had going for it was that there was plenty of space.

WiFi was free but allowed absolutely no video. I understand streaming is available through a paid for plan but we didn't need streaming.

No fridge in room, room very warm even with heating off.Not cleaned to a high standard. We found an old drinks bottle on the top of the wardrobe.
