You know what to expect with a YHA hostel, reliability was a big plus for me here. The room facilities were basic but clean, everything was in good working order there was a well equipped self catering kitchen, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Having a private ensuite room was a big bonus as I'm a single parent travelling with my daughter, and it was a good price for the time of year and the location.

The only downside to our stay was that the advertised canteen was only available for large group bookings, there was a small cafe but the menu there was minimal.

4 twin rooms suited 8 golfers on a getaway playing nearby courses. Hotel was dated, needs extensive facelift, but was fine for our purposes ... clean room, bed sheets, bathroom. Reception staff were very helpful, responding to any requests for information on nearby pubs / locations. Breakfast was very good - chef provided runny eggs on request. Good sized car park. Excellent value for money.

No problems at all. Nothing to complain about. Hotel was exactly as we expected, at a room rate that was in the price band that we were looking for.

Exactly on the Snowdonia Way path. The pods are off grid, but you wouldn't notice. There's a good light, and a couple of USB sockets to charge your phones in the night - perfect. Very reasonable prices at the bar with an honesty box. Wood for the included fire pit seemed reasonable too. Would definitely stay again!

Camping beds in the pod were a tiny bit uncomfortable, but I still slept like a log 🤷♂️

Location was close to the town centre. Getting back after a few was more difficult as it is up a steep hill! The decor is kooky and fun. The room was nice and cosy and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were excellent and the place is well worth a visit if you are in Whitby

The stairs to the room were very steep and the hand rail was difficult to hold - you could trap your fingers. You can also bang your head! All this is to bear in mind and just take care going up and down stairs. o real negatives about this place and well worth a visit

Beautiful Lodge, very comfortable, beds were really comfortable, lodge was clean, beautifully furnished. Lovely location. Hot tub amazing. Great communication from the owners. Would definitely go back, but for longer next time. Thank you for a lovely stay.

No basic anemity like toothpaste Picture was different than actual. Beds was too small as we booked along with 1 kid. Rooms was so tiny Bathroom was small n not clean. Not value for money.
