This was a wonderful hotel with an outside bar/breakfast and second patio area above the cliffs with a phenomenal view! The only downside is it has 100+ steep steps up to our room (which was very nice).
Albergo Barbara offers accommodations in Vernazza town center, a few steps from the sea. Free WiFi is available throughout.

The most friendly and welcoming staff! Thank you Esther and Evilina for going out of your way to make us welcome. We loved thr evening apperitivo and snacks ( really almost a meal!). Great breakfast. Quieter than rooms closer to the harbor, but still only a 5 minute walk to beach.

Shower was awesome!! Sofia 1. Don’t be scared of the stairs and the location as most places are the same in town. Umbrellas and poles to use for guests. Elena met us with her husband and carried bags.
B&B Rollando is set in Vernazza and features free WiFi. All units come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a bidet.

The terrace was our favorite part. Bed was very comfortable.
Vernazza was overcrowded. The trains that accessed the town were horribly overpacked and at times the city streets were impassible. I hope that the tour groups that flooded the trains and streets will be limited in number in the future otherwise the quality of life in this beautiful village will be diminished,

Vernazza was a beautiful unique place to visit--so glad we were able to experience it! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso was somewhat difficult because of so many steps but very worth it for the views. We would have liked to have taken the ferry back to Vernazza from Monterosso but it had not started running for the season yet, so we had to settle for the train. It's nice to have options!

We loved everything about Vernazza!
We loved everything about Vernazza! It is way more beautiful than I had pictured! It almost doesn't look real! The restaurants, food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We hiked above the town and had breathtaking views! We were there in March so we had some rain upon arrival in the morning, but the sun came out on our hike and it was beautiful! We walked every where from the train station~ it was so easy to get around! The shops are darling and we bought several items! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Cinque Terre!!!

We loved Vernazza.
We loved Vernazza. We enjoyed the views, the little harbor was beautiful.
The Tower views over looking the ocean and village was fantastic!
Our experiences in several restaurants were excellent. Plenty of shops for Souvenirs. Vernazza was also a great home base to visit the other villages of Cinque Terre. Our favorite Village.

City is beautiful with fine restaurants, but nearly impossible during the day when tour groups and day tourists overrun the town. Hiking was even difficult due to the number of persons on the trails. Trains between Cinque Terra towns were extremely crowded and unconfortable and station boarding platforms were shoulder to shoulder with passengers. We used the ferries instead of train if not in a hurry.
This place is so magical. Probably THE place to stay in all of Vernazza if not ALL of Cinque Terre!! You can see the most gorgeous sunsets right from outside the door or on the balcony!! Very clean!! Absolutely perfect!! You can control temperature of the room and the shower is nice and hot and good pressure. The path (hiking trail) to Corniglia is just down the path from the room and the other trail to Monterosso is just down the road a little bit. You won't regret staying here!!! Amazing value!!!
My stay here in May 2022 was a treat. Room 2 is a lovely, well appointed room. The host was warm and welcoming and the location is perfect. It is like staying in a mini-hotel. I didn't want to leave and if my budget didn't depend on the lowly NZ dollar, I would have stayed longer. This place is 9.9 out of 10! My only tiny problem was the saggy mattress; maybe in need of replacement.
Room 2 has a fridge, which is great for avoiding the expensive charges for breakfast in Vernazza.
We loved our stay in Vernazza! The accommodation was just up the path from the train station, close to town but still peaceful and away from the crowds. Everything was neat and comfortable, our hostess was friendly and quick to check us in. We loved being able to stroll just a few minutes down to the shops and restaurants and to the beach. The sea was clean and warm and lovely to swim in. We would definitely stay here again, thank you!
Wonderful location! Francesca made you feel like family. Answered questions about the area and was extremely helpful with questions on navigating trains in Italy. Exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Highly recommend if you are going to this area. One of the bonuses is that you get a great workout going to your room. Like all areas in Cinque Terre, you must be in shape to navigate all the steps.
Da Marcella is located in the most amazing location. Right on the water in Vernazza. Only a short stroll from the train. Marcella gave easy directions to locate the apartment. The apartment was lovely and clean, spacious with a lounge, mini kitchen and verandah to watch the activities on the waters edge. This place is a golden find. It made our trip to Cinque Terre so much better and authentic.
The hotel is a short walk from the Vernazza train station. Staff was helpful at check in, even helped us carry our luggage the 100 steps to our room. The room was clean, had a balcony looking out to the sea, and perfectly located. A restaurant and cafe was located on the street level. The challenge is the steps. They’re steep, stone and circuit some spots. No elevator.we loved the location!
The location is absolutely superb. Room is comfortable, air conditioner, clean and decent for a couple. Really nice rooftop view, you can stay hours looking at the sea and the surrounding. Don’t forget to get yourself a bottle of italian wine, especially from the cinque terre and enjoy the view. I will never forget the sound of the ocean, hitting the rocks, it’s a lifetime experience.
Excellent location! Steps from the train station and perfect for hopping around Cinque Terre. The apt is right on the main street, so you feel like you’re a part of everything but it’s quiet once you step inside. The balcony overlooking the street allows you to have the best of both worlds. While it isn’t glamorous, everything you need is within the apt for an easy home base.
The view is breathtaking. You’re up in the hills and look out over the Vernazza village. It’s incredible. But best of all was having a cappuccino in the morning looking out over the view and chatting with Lorana. Lorana was so helpful and kind and caring. Of all our Italian hotels we visited, she had to be the best staff member we encountered.
Our host was the nicest, friendly, host I have ever had. He met us in Corniglia's town square where we were able to offload our luggage and park the car. He then guided us to where we were going to stay telling us about the history of Cinque Terre and his own rich heritage. We had an amazing time largely in part to his hospitality.
The staff, owner Lorena and Lisa, were terrific and very good hosts. Lorena provided excellent tips regarding hiking paths. The location in Vernazza provided nice views and was close to train station. And Vernazza was central to the Cinque Terre. We were satisfied with our stay
Absolutely fantastic location just one minute away from the Vernazza train station. Rooms were basic but very clean and the hotel has a pleasant ambiance. We shared a bathroom with another room or two and didn't have any problems.
Amazing terrace views! Hosts were super friendly and very helpful…even helped me to carry my (very heavy) luggage downstairs. I would definitely recommend Rina Rooms to anyone wishing to have a great time in the Cinque Terre.
Alberto and Lorenzo run an excellent small hotel. The room we were in was very clean and the aircon worked really well. The room is in the heart of Vernazza with many restaurants and shops nearby.
Fabulous location right in the heart of Vernazza. Beautiful view of the harbour. Lovely apartment with cooking facilities and washing machine. You even get to dry your clothes Italian style 🤩
We loved our stay in Vernazza. Alex was wonderful in meeting us and providing information about the apartment and Cinque Terre. The apartment was spacious with all the facilities you need.
The property was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a long weekend in the Cinque Terre. The pictures of this property don’t do it justice! The location was amazing!
the amazing location of the hotel right on the main Piazza in vernazza .
there is no elevator but they helped us with our luggage up and down which was so nice of them.
Great location, clean rooms with elevator access, nice hosts who also own a great adjoining restaurant. Vernazza is also the best city to stay in Cinque Terre.
