The breakfast provided was optional and looked very good. In addition, there was a separate kitchen where you could bring your own food and cook meals. The place looks like a large converted house with several rooms up and down stairs. They were all accessible from the outside and via sliding glass doors. It had the vide of a hostel or campers rest house. The woman who was there seemed to be a jack-of-all-trades as she manned the front desk, cooked breakfast, did the housekeeping and that’s only what we saw. The lodge is located a mile or two off of the main road and thus was quiet and peaceful.

We stayed in the Alfred room for one night. It was a beautiful room with a lovely balcony. The bathroom was very spacious and the bedroom was beautifully presented and spotless.
