The man that that checked us in was very friendly and had a lovely smiley face. He showed us to our room and was helpful as I needed more milk later on and he filled my water bottle each morning. There was a cereal, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee, toast with jam or marmalade for breakfast (which was a bonus as we thought it was room only) Breakfast was 7-11 week days and 8-11 weekends. The TV in the room had Netflix and Amazon. The shower room had toiletries. Our bedroom had a view out to the garden. The guest house was 3 mins from the motorway, a 2 minute walk to Tesco and an excellent Italian restaurant Bella e Buona ( which is definitely worth going to). Also a petrol station 2 minute drive. Although it was on a main road it was quiet.

Queensferry is a lovely town, but suffers as all have from shops being turned in to hairdressers and charity shops. Could do with a little bit of care and attention to some of the lovely old buildings which are looking a bit stressed.

Queensferry is a lovely place to walk around.

Queensferry is a lovely place to walk around. There are lots of excellent restaurants and coffee shops. I had lunch at the Railbridge Bistro and a lovely dinner at the Thirty Knots restaurant. There are nice little shops to browse in. Queensferry is very near Edinburgh and there is an excellent train service into the city from Dalmeny Station.

Lovely hotel right on the pier area of south Queensferry, bit of a hidden gem. Paid extra for the upgraded room and had a stunning sea view of the three bridges which also came with a balcony. Room was clean and modern and had a red theme. Lobby and corridors where also nicely decorated. Jointed restaurant and bar area below the hotel was nice and busy. Great for a wee getaway.
