Decor/furnishings was as pictured, linen and bedding very comfortable. Location was perfect for our needs for the weekend, with a coffee shop and the Kirra hotel below. Also the Kirra Surf Club across the road. Staff at reception were cheerful and helpful. The car parking underground was easy to maneuver a 4wd into the parking spots, unlike some other motels/resorts that we have stayed at.

I had a great stay at The Cheshire Cat Motel. The location was perfect – just a short walk to the beach. The interior really did have a nostalgic charm about it and made the space feel cozy and inviting. Plus, it’s close to some great restaurants. Also, a special mention to the playlist they had going in the morning – so good! MEOW :)

    Tallebudgera valley is beautiful and close enough to get to places of interest while being out in the countryside. Spent some time in Burleigh Heads where you can get excellent coffee from Paradox Coffee Roasters. Had a vegan lunch at Izakaya Midori in Reedy Creek, amazing Japanese food. Visited David Fleay's wildlife park - well worth a visit.

    Unfortunately as the weather was cyclonic, and we only had a 1 night stay we didn't get to see what the area was like. I can say that the location is absolutely beautiful, high up with amazing views ( as much as I could see through the driving rain). I would love to visit the area again. I found it easy to get to from the M1. One day, I will be back.
