    I grew up near Buffalo but don't make a habit of coming back too often. It has been nice to see how the city's evolved and I actually might have to start coming back for leisure instead of just a travel hub!

    I have a love for great food and brew.

    I have a love for great food and brew. Wings at Gabriel's - Awesome!! The Griffon Gastropub in Niagara Falls (Military Road) - EXCEPTIONAL!! The food and service was really great, and the beers, hats off to the brewer! Wish they bottled it or sold it here! Thank you!! Heard good things about Mother's - don't go there if you are in town for a football game and root for an opposing team as the chef may not be nice.

    Buffalo is coming back. Lots of gentrification.

    Buffalo is coming back. Lots of gentrification. Lots of hipsters running good restaurants. Historically it is as fascinating as St Louis. I had no idea it was the Silicon Valley of the US at the turn of the 20th century. Tesla and Westinghouse and the Erie Canal before really had an impact. The architecture is historic. The Art Museum is a National Treasure. As is the Frank Lloyd Wright and its neighborhood

    The weather in late August was amazing!!

    The weather in late August was amazing!! Absolutely beautiful. Visited the Ellwood neighborhood, on a Saturday. Live music, food trucks, vendors and cute places to shop. So many people out in such a beautiful neighborhood! You MUST drive over to see Niagara Falls US side and visit the state park!!

    I was born and raised in Buffalo although have lived elsewhere for the past 35 years. Was in town to visit family and this was a very Short stay. but long enough to get a Teds hot dog and some sponge candy and a visit to the new Abright Knox Art Gallery. Family visits included North Bflo, Tonawanda, East Amherst and Cambria easy access from the hotel. Always said to can get around Bflo and its's neighborhoods all within 20 min. I-90 , 290 990 all very easy to travel

    It is a beautiful old mansion and something different from a regular chain hotel. Staff were incredible - helpful and courteous. The breakfast was delicious. We were a 10 minute drive from downtown and would recommend. The hotel has recently been purchased and we learned about the history and while there are some small things that look a bit tired, there was no impact on our wonderful stay - I would definitely stay again!

    Fantastic, smaller hotel, with impressive design and furniture. Bads are so comfortable and room was extra specious! It is located close to city center, in a quiet area. We arrived very latat night, but we were expressly checked in, wiith all instructions, via phone call. It would be ideal if there was a breakfast option too. This is not a minus, just a wish. Everything else was perfect! We are definetly coning back!l.

    The hotel is full of character and as someone who loves historic places it was perfect. The staff were super friendly, the room was clean (walked in and you could smell that it was clean) and it was an overall great stay! Duvet cover was so soft and the bed was comfy. 10/10 place to stay! Was close to downtown and the KeyBank Centre!
